Version 1 attracted customers, with customers came comments, suggestions and a huge array of improvements, including features such as a reminder / mailshot system which evolved into Auto DeskManager Version 2 towards the start of 2005.

 

The second release of our software with a fresh new look.

 

 

 

As development progressed, comments kept rolling in, new features where constantly added a new interface was required to cater for all the additions, still keeping in line with the traditional looks of Auto DeskManager with a familiar front screen and invoice creation screens. We were asked politely by a US company AutoDesk Inc to change the name of our software as they considered it to be too similar, altough presented differently with a different meaning, so we decided to drop the word "Auto" and rename it to simply "DeskManager"

 

DeskManager version 3 continued to progress through to version 3.28 where development was ended in favour of a fresh approach.

 

 

 

 

From DeskManager V3.28 came a completely re-written solution, with new looks, a new interface yet the same simplicity and focus. Our new system deserved a new name, something with meaning, something which set a picture of what the solution was all about, with numerous discussions along came Garage Assistant in 2006
