Quick search is capable of finding records from within the following categories

  • Estimates
  • Job Sheets
  • Invoices
  • Credit Notes
  • Appointments
  • Customers
  • Vehicles

The criteria you enter is used to search the following data:

For document results For customer results

  • Document Creation Date
  • Customer Account Number
  • Customer Name / Company Name
  • Customer Telephone / Mobile
  • Customer Post Code

In some cases, such as when few results are initially found, the search may extend automatically to include similar 'sounding' words, such as "Jon", when you searched for  "John".

Quick search results are limited to 10 records per category, so it is usually best to be a little specific with the search.  

Instead of searching for a registration using "GU" which could bring up a lot of results, searching for the full registration or more digits, will yield better results.

Section Specific Search

Some sections of GA4 also include a specific search, these include Customers, Vehicles, Stock and more.  The section-specific search will only search the relevant data and display the results within the same list screen.
