GA4 shuts down / crashes when printing
If you are having an issue whereby GA4 is closing down / crashing after setting up your printer in GA4, via File > Print Setup, please follow these steps.
1) Go to File > Print Setup
2) Select your printer as normal and click Configure and Save
3) When the print setup dialog (below) appears, click on Properties
4) Artificially take your time and click through any tabs available in the following dialog box slowly, spending about 10-20 seconds in this dialog box, also toggling some settings back and forth to force the dialog to load the information.
The key is not to just click through it rapidly, but take your time, since clicking too fast can cause an error capturing the data, since we store the print settings within Garage Assistant for later use.
5) Repeat steps 3 & 4 for the landscape settings.
6) Try printing again.
As an example:
Under 99% of circumstances, setting up your printer in this way, taking your time (we cannot stress this enough) will resolve any crashing.
Still having issues?
In some cases, it is advisable to remove your printer from Control panel and reinstall using the manufacturers drivers, found on their website.
You can search the web for "{Printer make/model number} Driver download" to locate this, usually.

i.e Taken directly from one of many Microsoft's Update / KB article pages that mentions printing related issues following an update, Hence, reinstalling the driver fresh from the manufacturers website, will usually eliminate this issue.
