Q. Can I network GA3 over the internet ?
Garage Assistant can be networked over the internet, or more precisely from outside of your local network.
For this to work you would need to either set up a Virtual Private Network

You will also have to set up Port Forwarding on your router so that TCP Port 5003 is being forwarded to your server IP Address.If you have a fixed IP Address then you can connect using this IP all of the time, however most internet providers (especially in the UK) provide dynamic IP addresses, this means it will change each time, hence why a VPN is more desirable.
